Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room (ER) services at a healthcare facility located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The position involves providing emergency care to patients across all ages, with a focus on high-acuity cases within a Level IV Trauma Department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts) with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Active RN License in New Mexico; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); minimum of 0 years of experience; must have certification and licensure required to work as an RN in New Mexico.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency services; ED or critical care experience is desirable.
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. Each agency needs an account with the New Mexico Department of Health. Travelers may begin on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results but must be supervised.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
