The El Paso, Texas-based Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join their cardiovascular services team. This contract position encompasses 13 weeks of work, requiring candidates to bring their licensure on the first day. The role involves supporting a high-volume cath lab environment with an emphasis on patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures. The schedule is primarily during day shifts, with flexibility needed to accommodate operational needs.

• Required Qualifications: Open to candidates with any amount of experience; Cath Lab experience and EP experience are preferred and will be considered advantageous
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with EP (Electrophysiology) experience are highly desired
• Additional Information: The unit boasts the largest structural volume in El Paso with 50 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVRs) performed annually, achieving excellent patient outcomes including very low percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) mortality rates
• Call Requirements: Yes; call is distributed evenly among staff for emergent cases

• Equipment and Procedures: Focus on catheterization, PCI, EP procedures (including atrial fibrillation ablation), Watchman device placement, TAVR, Inari devices, PPM, ICD, Impella, among others
