Description

Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position on a Medical-Surgical floor is available in Lewiston, Maine. Candidates will provide care for surgical and telemetry patients while adhering to hospital standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Lewiston, ME
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week, minimum
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS or BCLS certification (ACLS preferred), 0+ years of experience in telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Bariatric experience.
Additional Information: Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia management is essential. Bariatric experience is preferred. There is access to an Ultrasound IV Team working from 7 AM to 10 PM; assistance with IVs as needed is usually available.
Unit Details: 37-bed unit with high patient turnover, specialized beds including bariatric, wound vacs, prevena v MACs, and Baxter IV pumps.
EMR: Omnicell, Cerner
Personality Fit: Adaptability to a high-churn surgical population and collaborative team player.
