Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) open heart registered nurse (RN) position is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The role involves providing high-quality care within a specialized cardiac surgical environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
- Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
- Shift: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, totaling 40 hours weekly
- Schedule: 36 hours guaranteed per week; includes holidays as required and every other weekend
- Required Qualifications: Associated degree in nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted); AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; 1 year of recent experience in the specialty, or 18 months working under the highest level of professional license with 2 years of experience; minimum of 2 years experience preferred
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. This is a patient-facing clinical position. Parking is available at the facility.
