Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This role involves providing general medical-surgical nursing care on a general inpatient unit. The facility requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with floating and call responsibilities required
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Required Qualifications: All candidates must have 2+ years of experience, hold a valid nursing license, and be registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting purposes
• Additional Information: No on-call schedule; occasional non-critical pediatric patients; EMR system: MedHost; no guaranteed shift hours; facility may accommodate blocked scheduling if specified in submission
• Note: Only agency submissions from providers registered with the state of New Mexico will be considered, as fingerprint processing may take several weeks.
