Job Summary:
An Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in Wilson, North Carolina. This position involves providing vital emergency care in a dynamic hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Wilson, North Carolina
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (varies)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Associates of Nursing (RN license), Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). At least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system and knowledge of common ED diagnoses such as Respiratory Distress, Overdose, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Dialysis, and Hypertension (HTN).
• Additional Information: Patient ratios are flexible between 1:4 and 1:5 depending on patient acuity. Equipment used includes GE monitors and standard ED tools. The supervisor overseeing this role is Donna Nanney. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including all age groups. Dress code is scrubs in any color; scrubs are acceptable attire.
