Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Denver, Colorado. The position involves working night shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. This role requires a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital ICU experience.

Job Details:

Location: Denver, Colorado
Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a schedule of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification; minimum of one (1) year of current acute care hospital ICU experience; experience in intensive care unit (ICU); ability to work every third weekend; experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience; familiarity with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
Additional Information: Candidates should possess a team-oriented personality and a good sense of humor. The position requires self-scheduling, with the ability to float to telemetry and other hospital units within the health system. The role includes working one major winter holiday. The unit has 21 beds with a staff of 45, and provides care for critically ill patients including those with sepsis, arrhythmias, and those requiring ventilator management. Typical procedures include intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy.
