Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in medical-surgical float position, located in Johnson City, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care across various clinical settings, with a focus on cardiac telemetry and complex patient management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12 Nights shift; 36 hours per week, every other weekend, for a duration of 13 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State RN license, BLS certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross), nursing experience of six (6) months to three (3) years, including five (5) or more years of direct RN experience, and experience in a cardiac telemetry department (e.g., TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preoperative/postoperative open heart care, cardiac IV and PO medications, cardiac drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin; management of anticoagulants, CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, postoperative CABG over three days, sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, observation patients, use of TR band, groin management, and familiarity with related complications).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Additional Information: Ensuring telemetry skills checklists are completed accurately is required. Confirmation of cardiovascular experience with candidates prior to submission is recommended. Highlighting applicable skills and experience in resumes is encouraged.
