Job Summary:
This operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) position is based in Kansas City, Missouri. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care within the peri-operative setting, working closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

• Schedule: Days (Monday-Friday), with on-call duties scheduled as follows: Monday-Friday from 1530 to 0700 when scheduled, and Saturday-Sunday from 0700 to 0700 when scheduled
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, no specific certifications, education, or years of experience required, based on available information
• Preferred Qualifications: Open Heart experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The RN is accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, with indirect supervision by the House Supervisor. The role involves coordination of care, adherence to regulations and policies, participation in performance improvement activities, and acting as a resource for other personnel.
