Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) specialized in Emergency Room (ER) care for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. The position is located in the ER (780) unit, with a focus on adult emergency care. Candidates are required to bring their active nursing license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, with additional call responsibilities
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted), a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, including certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system.
- Additional Information: Assignment length is 13 weeks with 3 to 4 positions available.
- Clinical and Operational Details:
- Dress code adheres to clinical standards, with royal blue scrubs for RN staff.
- Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails without artificial enhancements.
- Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
- Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
