Description
Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for surgical, urology, and thoracic patients in a Level-IMC setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and have relevant clinical experience in IMC or Progressive Care Units (PCU). The position requires dedication to patient care and adherence to facility protocols.
Job Details:
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Shift Time: Nights
- Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; Basic Life Support (BLS); IMC/PCU experience; ACLS; current nursing license; ability to float as needed to similar skill set areas including all of 11 West, IMC, and Medical-Surgical (MS) Level units; orientation on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: Prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities (staff, PRN, travel) must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history with verification before an offer. Candidates are advised to confirm if they have previously worked for Johns Hopkins Health System facilities before submission.
