Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is available in Binghamton, New York. Candidates are responsible for providing comprehensive patient care within a high-acuity setting, adhering to all professional standards and safety regulations. The RN is expected to promote a healing environment, support professional development, and participate in unit initiatives. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Binghamton, NY
- Schedule: 12 nights, 36 hours per week, every 3rd weekend
- Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); six (6) months to three (3) years of nursing (RN) experience, including experience with intensive cardiac patients (CHF, COPD, end-stage heart failure, cardiogenic shock, septic shock, GI bleeds, CRRT, IABP, Impella, normothermia, stroke thrombectomy/TNK, ICU overflow); education from an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: CCRN and relevant skills certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC as required by the home unit.
- Additional Information: The role involves collaboration, effective communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, planning, problem-solving, and safety management. Epic experience is required.
