Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is available in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment. The position offers an opportunity to provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a dynamic environment.

Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 06/29/2026
Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of Nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association; preferred experience as a Registered Nurse; preferred Bachelors degree of Nursing; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as appropriate for the unit or service; flexibility to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications); may be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Additional Information: The nurse will perform health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, and planning of therapy and treatment. Responsibilities include patient referral, documentation, resource utilization, and executing delegated medical functions. This role supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and may include providing care outside the primary department based on operational needs.
