Job Summary:
A PACU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role involves caring for post-anesthesia care unit patients and requires candidates to have recent PACU experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
• Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association (AHA)
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience; license to submit is required
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, with availability to work four shifts weekly, totaling 40 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
  • Nursing ratio: 2:1 in Phase 1; unit staffed with 2-3 certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
  • Typical cases include robotic prostatectomy, total knee/hip, robotic hysterectomy, and bariatric surgeries
  • Must be able to read strip rhythms and understand irregular rhythms
  • Floating to Post-Operative or Pre-Operative units may be required if trained
  • Shift involves call approximately once every 2 weeks and once every 6 weekends; call response time: 1 hour
  • Scrubs provided; dress code is respectable casual dress to and from work
  • Unit-specific orientation: 2-3 shifts
  • Candidate must have never worked for the organization within the last 6 months or must have an end date prior to 6 months from application submission
  • Must clock in and out at the facility
