Description
Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is available in Billings, Montana. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with the standards established by the state Board of Nursing. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate neonatal nursing care, providing health education and counseling, and executing delegated medical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Billings, Montana
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required; BLS - American Heart Association certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the neonatal unit; Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing
- Additional Information: The position involves supporting neonatal patients through health assessment, nursing care, health teaching, and treatment planning. The role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and the RN may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
