Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse for a position located in Manchester, New Hampshire. This critical care role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 20-bed ICU unit with a diverse patient population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Manchester, NH
- Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Number of Positions: 1
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in hand, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), experience with critical drips and ventilators, prior ICU experience, EMR: Sunrise
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical drips, vents, telemetry, EMR: Sunrise
- Unit Description:
- Unit type: Intensive Care
- Patient population: Mixed medical and surgical ICU
- Typical patient ratios vary based on acuity (e.g., ECMO 2:1, post open heart surgery 1:1, critical device patients 1:1, typical ICU assignment 1:2, step-down 1:3-4)
- Equipment includes IV pumps, telemetry monitors, ventilators, Impella, IABP, CRRT, chest tubes, and others
- Shift involves working every third weekend with no call requirements
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Organized and adaptable personality preferred
- No specific dress code required (scrub color/attire N/A)
- Unit policies and guidelines may be attached for review
