Job Summary:
The emergency room nursing position is located in West Bloomfield Town, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care within a fast-paced emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The selected professional will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential.

Job Details:

• Location: West Bloomfield Town, Michigan
• Short Description: The position involves emergency nursing with responsibilities aligned with assessing, planning, providing, and documenting patient care.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BSN degree from an accredited nursing school; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; at least 1 year of clinical experience; flexible schedule with 12-hour shift hours; ability to work 4 nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 4 mids with variable shifts (2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.).
• Schedule: 4 nights - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 4 mids - variable shifts (2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.), minimum of 48 hours per week
• Additional Information: Role requires clinical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services and communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
