Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab RN position in Arlington, Texas. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the endoscopy unit, including circulating and taking call responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires at least one year of GI experience and involves working on-call during weekdays and weekends.

Job Details:

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education Requirements: Valid nursing license
• Location: Arlington, Texas
• Schedule: Weekdays 3:15 PM to 7:00 AM, 24 hours on weekends, approximately 15 days per month, with holiday call as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of GI experience, ability to circulate and handle intra-operative cases, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional Information: Unit comprises 2 beds and 2 Endoscopy rooms, with a total staff of 6 including 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, and 1 technician. Typical procedures include EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, PEG, Bronch, and EBUS. The team utilizes Meditech electronic medical records.
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Personal Traits: Candidates should demonstrate accountability, leadership, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Unit Policies: Policies and guidelines are available for review.
