Description

Job Summary:
This is a Nursing position in the Progressive Care Unit located in Burlington, Massachusetts. The role involves providing patient care within a specialized unit, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position requires Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience and adherence to clinical protocols. The successful candidate must be able to titrate pressors and work a 12-hour shift schedule, including every other weekend. The ability to float to various units as needed is expected.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with start dates every Monday.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Epic EMR experience; ability to titrate pressors; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or equivalent experience preferred; 0 years minimum experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic EMR experience; Level 1 trauma experience (if no prior travel experience, level 1 trauma experience is required); ability and willingness to float to Emergency Department holds, inpatient holds, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and other boarding units; ability to work weekend shifts for days or nights as specified.
  • Additional Information: Ratios will be between 1:3-5; floating occurs in 4-hour blocks and is rare but possible; candidates must have prior separation from the employer for a minimum of 6 months; will undergo Relias testing during onboarding and initial days at the facility; experience with Epic EMR is required; specific submission documentation includes a coversheet at the time of submission.
