Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics and located in Templeton, California. This position involves providing comprehensive care for patients in the Labor and Delivery department within a busy hospital setting. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating efforts among the healthcare team to ensure high-quality maternity services. The position is represented by the CNA union.

Job Details:

• Location: Templeton, California
• Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from a school of nursing; valid RN license in California; a minimum of 2 years recent acute care RN experience; current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS); completion of AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course on hire and every two years thereafter; facility-specific licensure/certifications including AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, and AHA-NRP as required.
• Additional Information: Active participation in hospital committees such as Shared Governance; commitment to patient safety, infection control, and ethical practices; excellent communication skills; maintaining professional licensure and certifications; supporting hospital resources and safety standards.
