Job Summary:
A registered nurse with a specialty in Medical Surgical Floor located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves working in a Level I Trauma Center within a Short Term Acute Care facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and should be prepared to work nights, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 48 hours per week. The role demands a minimum of five years of experience in trauma or similar settings.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri or compact state license at the time of submittal; minimum of 5 years of experience; 6 patient ratio experience; experience with EPIC charting system; trauma level I and II experience; travel experience required; certifications including BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); ability to pass Relias EKG exam; experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, peripheral line care and management, phlebotomy, starting IVs, insulin management, PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia), spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, level 1 trauma experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nursing experience, level II trauma experience.
• Float: Floating within the service line is required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have passable Relias EKG exam and meet all vaccination requirements, including flu vaccine.
• Certifications Needed: BCLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, BSN, TNCC.
• Vaccinations: Flu Vaccine.
