Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in intermediate care unit (IMCU) is sought for a facility location in Golden, Colorado. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position is scheduled for day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 07:00-19:30; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Current RN license in the state of practice or a Compact state license - ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required) - Bachelor's degree of Nursing (preferred) - BLS (AHA) certification (required) - ACLS (AHA) certification (required) - NIHSS certification (required) - 0 years of minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a registered nurse in a similar setting - TNCC certification
• Skills and Responsibilities: - Conduct health assessments and provide health teaching and counseling - Plan and implement therapy and treatment to support and restore patient well-being - Document healthcare activities according to regulations and standards - Delegate and supervise nursing tasks and consult resources as needed - Promote the organization's mission, vision, and values
• Additional Information: - May be required to float within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs - May be placed on-call during scheduled shift
