Job Summary:
A Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Berlin, Wisconsin. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day. The position offers an initial contract length of 12 weeks, with starting dates as soon as possible.

Job Details:

• Position: Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Berlin, Wisconsin
• Schedule: 12-hour days. The organization is open to candidates available for evening or night shifts only.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, Associates Degree or Certificate, 2+ years of recent long-term care experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record system experience, Pyxis medication dispensing system experience, experience with wound care, following medical doctor (MD) orders, PIV insertion, and blood draws.
• Additional Information: Ability to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles), with a patient ratio of approximately 1:17-20. Orientation includes 5 days (1 day onboarding followed by 4 shifts with a preceptor). No on-call or callback responsibilities.
• Shift Details: 12 hours per shift; open to candidates available for day, evening, or night shifts. Every other holiday rotation as needed.
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years, with 2+ years preferred, specifically in post-acute and long-term care settings.
• Charting: Epic experience preferred; Pyxis experience highly preferred.
• Other: Ability to work with flexible scrub colors. The unit consists of 20 beds for long-term care and 17 beds for rehabilitation. The RN patient ratio is approximately 1:17-20.
