Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Tupelo, Mississippi. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a 54-bed trauma unit, with responsibilities including management of critical care drips, ventilators, central lines, and other advanced procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, featuring a 3/2 rotation.

Job Details:

• Location: Tupelo, Mississippi
• Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, with a 3/2 rotation (working three days one week, two days the next), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Mississippi license, at least 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience, prior travel experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications, and ability to begin fingerprinting within 48 hours of offer acceptance. Candidates must not have worked perm or per diem for the organization within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital with more than 400 beds or level 2 trauma center experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to units within the applicant's competencies.
• Additional Information:
  • All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies.
  • Patient ratio 1:4, or 1:6 if ER holds are waiting for inpatient beds.
  • Scrubs: Navy Blue (not provided).
  • No on-call duties.
  • Scheduled based on staffing needs, with no block or self-scheduling.
  • All HCPs must pass an EKG/Dysrhythmia competency verification.
