Job Summary:
The location is in Clinton, Illinois. This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois Registered Nurse license on the first day. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, evaluating outcomes, consulting with specialists and ancillary departments as needed, and adjusting nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient flow and care. The nurse must communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient status and respond quickly to evolving conditions.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Schedule: Night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse license; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and/or TNS (Trauma Nursing Services) preferred
• Additional Information: The position involves providing comprehensive emergency nursing care that meets psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and their families. It requires the ability to respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and the ability to work during night hours as specified.
