Description

Job Summary:
A Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) is being sought at a healthcare facility located in Olympia, Washington. This position focuses on labor and delivery, postpartum, and C-section care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and adhering to clinical protocols.

  • Shift: 3x12 hours (days)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery, postpartum, and C-section experience, with prior NICU experience preferred
  • Pending License: Accepted with quick start preferred
  • Float Requirements: Float rotation between like units may be required
  • Additional Information: On-call is requested but not required; local candidates are not eligible; all RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be included with submittal; references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required and must be available during compliance process and prior to start.
  • Clinical Skills: Circulating for C-sections, starting and maintaining IVs, managing diagnoses typical in NICU such as sepsis, respiratory distress, and NICU-specific procedures.
  • Additional Notes: No on-call requirement, but requested; not accommodating block schedules at this time.
