Job Summary:
An Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse located in Willoughby, Ohio, is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to centenarians. This role involves implementing the nursing process, utilizing a variety of technical equipment, and demonstrating effective communication and collaboration. Candidates must bring their current Ohio nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered nurse license valid in Ohio, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, familiarity with nursing process and clinical practice, and experience with technical medical equipment such as stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, and electronic monitoring devices.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS/PALS (adult and pediatric advanced life support) certification may be required based on clinical needs.
• Additional Information: Work is conducted within a 22-bed level 3 trauma unit with a Supertrack area, serving both adult and pediatric patients aged 0-100+ years. The unit functions as a Stroke and Chest Pain Center, providing specialized care for critical conditions.
