Job Summary:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) specialized nursing position is located in Oakland, California. This role involves providing critical care to pediatric patients in a dedicated pediatric intensive care setting. The position offers an opportunity to utilize advanced cardiac and pediatric life support skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Oakland, California
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years of straight Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience (not floating), with specific experience in cardiac care; graduate of an accredited nursing program; Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of care; Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
- Additional Information: The position requires a current license and certifications as specified. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate competency in pediatric critical care procedures and protocols.
