Job Summary:
A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Wilson, North Carolina. This role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The RN will provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations, managing admissions and discharges, with an emphasis on EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills. The position offers bi-weekly orientation and multiple upcoming start dates.

Job Details:

• Location: Wilson, North Carolina
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Associate degree required, BSN preferred; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLs) are mandatory; 0-1.5 years of experience; North Carolina residency or willingness to travel 60 miles or greater to the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing discharges and admissions; basic cardiac drip knowledge; proficiency in EKG interpretation; ability to think critically.
• Additional Information: The RN will work in a telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1, using equipment such as Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift with weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, Computers on Wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps; and Meditech electronic health record. The team-oriented and flexible personality fit is essential.
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
