Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) position is available in Dallas, Texas, within a Progressive Care Unit specializing in patient care that requires close monitoring and management. The role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality clinical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in emergency response activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Shift Time: Days
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid State RN License; Valid State Driver's License; BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required prior to first shift; minimum two years of bedside clinical experience; experience in rehabilitation; proficiency in input of orders into Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Additional Information: Participates in on-call rotation to provide support to staff after hours and on weekends.
- Responsibilities include medication audits and profiles, supervision of Neuro Rehab Coaches performing Nurse Delegate tasks, assisting with operational and clinical duties, managing medical documentation, conducting weekly medication record audits, addressing direct patient care and PRN medical issues, communicating with physicians and treatment team, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining medical supplies, and participating in emergency drills and meetings.
- Behavior Characteristics: Skills in clinical supervision, communication, compliance, problem-solving, and emergency response are expected.
