Job Summary:
This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) position is located in Englewood, Colorado. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized care in a surgical robotics unit with a focus on post-operative assessments, pain management, and patient care for post prostatectomy and hysterectomy patients.

Job Details:

• Location: Englewood, Colorado
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, including night shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 48.0 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications, and Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Gynecology and Oncology experience, Urology experience.
• Additional Information: No special scheduling or return-to-work caps are required after acceptance.
• Responsibilities include post-operative assessments and care, post prostatectomy and hysterectomy patient management, pain management including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and epidurals, Foley catheter maintenance.
• Typical staffing includes one charge nurse, five nurses, and one to two technicians.
• Patient ratios are 5:1.
• Position creation reason is for peak period demand.
