Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for an assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. This position involves working in a General Emergency Department that handles adult and pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers nights shifts with a minimum scheduled hours per week, starting from August 3, 2026.

Job Details:

Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Position: Emergency Room RN
Shift: Nights, 12 hours
Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week, three shifts every 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 3 shifts.
Required Qualifications: Missouri or Compact License, minimum of 2 years ER experience, certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and valid vaccination records including flu vaccine.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ failure/dysfunction, arterial line management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).
Responsibilities include managing dysrhythmias, caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction, IV therapy and phlebotomy, including central line management, administering continuous IV sedation and vasopressors, respiratory management with CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, and adhering to isolation precautions and triage protocols.
Additional Information: Regular floating between different departments, units, and facilities may be required as needed.
