Description

Job Summary:
Located in Edmonds, Washington, this operating room nursing position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a fast-paced team environment, with responsibilities spanning a variety of surgical procedures. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, supporting diverse surgical disciplines and patient populations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4X10 Days, with shift hours of 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of experience in operating room nursing, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system, ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Not specified.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with a wide range of surgical procedures including abdominal/ vaginal hysterectomy, anterior/posterior repair (Colporrhaphy), appendectomy, arthroscopy, bilateral tubal ligation, cholecystectomy, closed reduction of fractures, colon resection, dilation & curettage, general OR procedures, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic gynecological and assisted procedures, laryngectomy, lumbar fusion, open reduction of fractures, radical neck dissection, vascular surgery, thyroidectomy (partial/total), tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, total joint replacement, tracheostomy, and Whipple procedures. Candidates must be proficient in scrubbing for these procedures.
    Candidates are required to provide two references covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years during the compliance process and prior to start date.
