Job Summary:

The Operating Room (OR) registered nurse position is based in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical environment, supporting procedures across various specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and spine. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position includes on-call shifts with extended hours to support a wide range of surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Issaquah, Washington
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 10 hours, on-call shifts are 12 hours with weekday shifts from 7 pm to 7 am and weekend/holiday shifts either 7 pm to 7 am or 7 am to 7 pm
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 0 years of experience; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; active license; previous charge experience; community hospital experience; minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience; scrub experience in orthopedic, ENT, robotic, trauma, or vascular surgeries
• Responsibilities: Assistance with complex surgical procedures including hysterectomy, appendectomy, arthroscopy, colon resection, colorectal robotic surgery, spinal surgeries, robotic surgeries, wound vac, epidural pumps, blood and blood product administration, and vascular device access and care
• Certifications: ACLS (preferred), BLS
• Experience: Completion of required clinical procedures and skills including endoscopic sinus procedures, free flap microvascular surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and robotic surgeries
• Submittal Requirements: Two references covering 1 year during the last 3 years, including charge nurses or leads
• Additional Information: Supportive interdisciplinary team environment, requirement to potentially float to other campuses, and extensive surgical case coverage across multiple specialties
