Description

Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) nurse at a healthcare facility located in Issaquah, Washington. The role focuses on supporting interventional and procedural cardiology activities within the STEMI Emergency Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (EP) Lab. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Shift time is 10 hours; on call requirement includes one weekday and one weekend per month (minimum). Hours may vary from 8 to 10 hours, with additional days and weekends per month.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 Years of Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and experience with assistive skills such as central line management, blood product administration, cardioversion, chest tube placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, hypothermia protocol, dysrhythmia management, interventional cardiac catheterization, procedural sedation, obtaining 12-lead EKG, sheath removal, and monitoring.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records in a community hospital setting, and travel experience is required.
  • Additional Information:
    Unit type: STEMI EP Lab, Interventional, Procedural Biopsies, GI;GU/Renal, Peripheral Vascular, Stent placement.
    Staffing is based on team support with interdisciplinary cooperation and transportation service available.
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Staff must meet required skills; screening is permitted for strong candidates.
  • References: Two references covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the past three years are required prior to start.
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
  • EMR: Charting System in use is Community Hospital.
