Job Summary:
This emergency room registered nurse (RN) position is located in Weatherford, Texas. The role involves providing care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department environment. Candidates are required to bring their active Texas RN license on the first day. The shift schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Weatherford, TX
• Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12 hours)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas RN license, minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience with MEDITECH electronic documentation system is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MEDITECH is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit involves standard emergency department procedures in a Level IV trauma center and primary stroke center.
  • The unit maintains accreditation for Chest Pain with PCI (STEMI 24/7).
  • Personal appearance guidelines include wearing royal blue scrubs, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, with restrictions on artificial nails, extreme hairstyles or colors, visible tattoos, and non-ear piercings.
  • The unit has a staff of RNs, technicians at the lobby, and a secretary. Floating rotation may be required depending on staffing needs.
