Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is needed at a full-service community and regional teaching hospital located in Delano, California. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, following established standards of care and the nursing process. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Delano, California
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day shift, with minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification; S.T.A.B.L.E certification (STABLE); AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS); Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsible for collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, collaborating with healthcare team members, providing patient and family education, and participating in discharge planning. Nurses will delegate duties appropriately and perform other related duties as assigned.
