Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother Baby Unit located in Boise, Idaho. This role involves providing care for postpartum patients and well babies, following established protocols and guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Boise, Idaho
  • Specialty: Post Partum Floor
  • Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends as needed
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
  • Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE Certification; Licensure as a Registered Nurse; at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with magnesium infusions; additional experience of 2 or more years is preferred
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to Nampa and Meridian hospitals to take patient assignments and occasionally sit with patients on other floors
  • Additional Information: The unit is a mother-baby postpartum service with approximately 350-400 births per month. The team includes lactation consultants, contracted staff for newborn screenings, respiratory therapists, and in-house obstetrics, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and hospitalists available 24/7. Charting is conducted in Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Experience: No minimum experience stated, but an emphasis on at least 2 years of related experience preferred for skilled performance in the unit.
