Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse position available in Mountain Home, Idaho. The role involves providing surgical nursing care in a small team environment within the Surgical Services unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position involves working rotating shifts that include 12-hour work periods, with scheduled call shifts every eight weeks.

• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 3 years of healthcare experience; Idaho licensure required.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, including 17-20 scheduled call shifts within an 8-week staff scheduling period. Call response time is 30 minutes. This will include 12-hour weeknight shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts.
• Additional Information: The surgical unit is small, with a collaborative team environment and slow-paced workflow. Candidates should be prepared for some down time and may be asked to assist in other departments such as Preoperative or Post-Anesthesia Care Units if no surgeries are scheduled. No scrubbing experience is required but is preferred. There is no onsite housing available; housing options include RV sites, with Boise being the closest area with ample housing. Everyone works together and helps out as needed, with minimal patient volume.
