Description
Job Summary:
A neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) registered nurse (RN) is needed in Meridian, Idaho. This position involves working in a Level 2B NICU on night shifts, with a focus on caring for premature infants of 32 weeks and greater, as well as patients with sepsis, hypoglycemia, and respiratory needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Meridian, Idaho
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with weekends and holidays as needed. Staff cannot work more than five shifts in a row.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in a neonatal intensive care setting, delivery room high risk resuscitation experience, IV start, and lab draw experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk deliveries and short-term management of titratable and set rate drips such as Dopamine and Epinephrine.
- Additional Information: Candidates may need to float to similar units within the valley, such as other NICUs, to accommodate staffing needs. The facility provides blue scrubs. Orientation typically lasts 2-3 shifts based on individual needs.
