Description

Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) professional is based in Augusta, Georgia, working in a high-volume MAIN OR unit with 13 surgical suites. This role involves assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedic major joint, general, urology (open and cysto), minor vascular, and other specialized surgeries. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility to work call shifts and participate in weekend rotations.

Required Qualifications: Certifications (BLS), Orthopedic major joint, general, urology (open & cysto), minor vascular experience, orthopedic skill set, experience in the operating room, proficiency with MEDITECH documentation system, Georgia location, no specific education or degree requirements, zero years of experience required.
Schedule: Call shifts 4-5 per 4 weeks, weekend rotation. No set schedule but reasonable.
Additional Information: The unit features advanced orthopedic equipment such as STRYKER systems and OMNI and MAKO navigation, with procedures performed on all surgical cases except open heart, transplants, and eye surgeries.
