Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Vail, Colorado. This role involves providing expert nursing care for surgical patients in a fast-paced OR setting. The position requires collaboration with healthcare providers and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The nurse will oversee patient flow, assist with procedures, administer medications, and deliver patient education, all while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or from a valid compact state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, at least 1 year of experience in operating room or perioperative nursing, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong critical thinking, triage skills, and experience with patient education and interdepartmental coordination.
• Additional Information: Must be HIPAA compliant. The position requires adherence to patient safety guidelines and the ability to handle high telephone volumes for patient requests. Candidates should demonstrate excellent service skills utilizing Relationship-Based Care and embody principles of a Just Culture and organizational values.
