Job Summary:
The Electro Physiology Lab (EP LAB) Nurse position is located in Stockton, California. The role involves working within a busy catheterization laboratory environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures in a STEMI receiving center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position demands familiarity with critically ill patients and experience with peripheral and coronary circulation.

Job Details:

  • Location: Stockton, California
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Education Requirements: No specific Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience, must be comfortable with critically ill patients, and have experience with peripheral and coronary circulation. Knowledge of Merge, Cerner EMR, and Siemens or Phillips imaging equipment is preferred.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other day with weekends on a rotating basis, first to float, and days off after call.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, certification in BLS and ACLS, and minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Additional Information: The role involves performing patient assessments, procedural support, post-procedure care, documenting accurately in the Cerner Electronic Medical Record, and responding to emergency situations in an acute care setting. The team includes cardiologists, cath lab techs, RT equipment staff, and charge nurses, with on-call duties that require a response time of 30 minutes or less.
