Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Houston, Texas. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working in the OR unit with a focus on data collection and adhering to facility policies. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week on day shifts, with shift hours totaling 10 hours per shift. The assignment start date is 06/29/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and experience with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Endo Robotics procedures is highly desirable; candidates with this skill will be prioritized.
- Additional Information: The role requires call and weekend shifts. No. of Positions: 1/2.
- Unit Information: The unit has 11 beds, with 80 staff members including charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters. Typical procedures include Urology, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, ENT, and General Surgery.
- Dress Code: Scrubs in royal blue.
- Unit Policies: Facility policies and guidelines will be provided.
- Float: Float rotation may be required during the assignment.
