Description

Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role involves circulating and monitoring during various cardiac procedures, including Tee's, cardioversions, peripherals, and other related interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/27/2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: Carlsbad, NM
  • Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL)
  • Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS); Education: RN license; Experience: 2+ years circulating and monitoring in cardiac procedures such as Tee's, cardioversions, peripherals; Certification and State License; no minimum experience specified otherwise

  • Float: Float rotation may be required. Floating as sitters is typical.
  • Additional Information:
    • The scope of the role includes circulating cases, responsible for moderate sedation, preparing and administering medications, circulating/monitoring, and cleaning and stocking the lab.
    • 48-hour glycohemoglobin (GH) tests are not approved.
    • The schedule is blocked and holidays are not considered for request to time off.
    • Candidate must have fingerprints on file for all New Mexico travelers.
    • No holidays will be considered for RTO.
