Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing expert pediatric critical care to patients from birth through 18 years of age. The successful candidate will be flexible to work rotating shifts, with a focus on either nights or a rotational schedule, supporting a unit that manages a diverse range of diagnoses, including pediatric cancers and therapies. Experience working with pediatric hematology and oncology patients is preferred.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, 3 years of relevant experience, pediatric hematology/oncology experience, familiarity with EPIC Beacon platform
Additional Information: Open to candidates with dual experience in PICU and hematology/oncology. Depending on unit needs, may staff critical care or hematology/oncology units. Should be well-versed in caring for pediatric cancers, therapies, and a variety of diagnoses across high-acuity pediatric patients. Flexibility for rotation or night shifts is required.
