Description

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves providing direct patient care, performing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring patient safety and education. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

  • Location: Jacksonville, FL
  • Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
  • Start Date: 07/13/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to first shift, valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience, Florida nursing license, associate or bachelors degree in nursing, and at least 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for performing nursing assessments within eight hours of patient admission, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, documenting patient care accurately, initiating discharge planning, and supervising ancillary nursing staff. The role emphasizes patient and staff safety, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
