Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN position is available in Summit, Wisconsin. This role involves providing advanced critical care for a diverse patient population, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical patients, in a Level II trauma center with 91 beds. The position requires a highly skilled nurse capable of managing complex patient needs during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin state RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, at least 2 years of ICU experience, ability to work night shift, and EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification, experience with vent/trach management, invasive line management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and additional advanced ICU skills
• Support within the Department: Charge RN manages patient assignments, 1-2 CNA per shift, bedside/centralized tele monitor, hospitalists, intensivist, RT 24/7, OT/PT/ST during the day
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC EMR, IV pumps, Alaris infusion pumps, medication dispensing systems, monitors, and unit-specific equipment
• Orientation: 2-day orientation with unit training and preceptor sessions
• Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation, no on-call requirement, one holiday per contract, shifts from 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00, scheduled in 6-week cycles
• Additional Notes: Scrub color must be a solid, professional color with no graphics or logos. Free parking available in designated areas.
• Floating: Floating within hospital scope possible; will float first to MedSurg or Telemetry units if needed.
