Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) position available in Summit, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill patients in a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and medical patients. The ICU RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Summit, WI, zip code 53066
• Schedule: Days shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, 2 years ICU experience, EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification
• Support within the Department: Charge RN typically manages patient assignments; 1-2 CNA per shift; bedside and centralized monitor oversight; hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, OT/PT/ST available 24/7; HUC on day shift; Break Buddy system in place
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC EMR; IV pumps (Alaris); Pyxis medication dispensing; monitors; unit-specific equipment; floating within hospital scope; float first option
• Orientation: 2-day orientation with facility and unit training; day 1 includes badge and login setup, day 2 involves on-unit training with preceptor
• Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement; 1 holiday per contract; shifts from 0700-1900 and 1900-0700; schedule made in 6-week increments
• Other Notes: Scrub color is any solid, professional color without logos or graphics; free parking available in designated areas
