Job Summary:
A registered nurse position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Billings, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Location: Billings, Montana
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service.
- Additional Information: The position involves evaluating patients' health status, providing supportive therapy and treatment, executing delegated medical functions, documenting according to regulatory guidelines, and promoting the organizations mission, vision, and values. May require float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications or being placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
